We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark McQuillan to head up our employment law group.
Mark was previously at Addleshaw Goddard where he developed a successful practice advising a diverse range of employers ranging from UK listed companies and Fortune 500 companies to smaller entrepreneurial and owner/managed businesses on their employment issues. He also has significant experience of advising employers, artists and senior executives in the media and entertainment sector.
Mark is acknowledged as a leading employment lawyer in the major directories. In the 2009 Chambers UK Guide, clients commented that he “gets great results, even when he is under heavy pressure and the stakes are high” and they praised him for “really taking the time to understand a business, right up to board level.”

Mark's appointment is the third partner appointment at Simkins this year, following on the heels of the appointment of Oliver Smith as a partner in the Dispute Resolution Group in May, and the appointment of Robert Allan as a partner in the Commercial Group in February.
